Had Enough?

Here's help!
Celebrate Recovery
provides you with a safe place
to get real about your hurts, habits and hang-ups.
You're invited to be a part of Celebrate Recovery!

Every Friday night in our
Chapel:
To get started - just show up!
Meal from 6 - 6:45 p.m.
Join us for dinner. We usually have
grilled hamburgers and chicken as our standard menu.
Large Group from 7 -
8 p.m.
Join us for a time of worship, testimonies and
teaching on the twelve steps and recovery principles.
Issue Groups from 8
- 9 p.m.
At the conclusion of our Large Group Meeting, we
will break up into gender specific issue
groups for more in-depth discussions. The gender
specific open issue groups will provide more in-depth sharing of similar
struggles. Teachings from the Large Group Meeting or devotional readings
will be used to initiate sharing. These meetings meet in various
rooms in our Education Building. Participants
are encouraged to comment, read or just listen.
You are welcome to come
and not say say anything. We use only the CR
material. No outside material is allowed to be used or
shared with the group.
Newcomers' Meeting
If you are new to recovery or a visitor, after
the Large Group session we invite you to attend this meeting. Just
meet around the table in the same room the Large Group is held in. You will receive a brief introduction to CR through a
short video, discussion of our meeting format and some personal
testimonies. There is no obligation to share. Just join us and find out
about CR, ask questions and determine if it is a good fit for you.
Lighthouse Cafe from 9 - 10 p.m.
Join others for a time of fellowship, coffee and
dessert after the issue group time. It is an excellent way to
unwind, relax and get to know others better. Many use this time to connect
with a sponsor.
Child Care available from 6:45 to 10:00 p.m.
For ages up to 6th grade at a cost of $4.00 for
one child or a maximum of $7.00 for two or more.

Celebrate
Recovery is a Christ-centered and Bible-based 12 Step Recovery Program.
The purpose is to focus on God’s healing power through fellowship with
others. By working the 12 Steps
and the 8 Beatitude
Principles, issue groups open up, share experiences, and explore hope. In this way, we
become willing to accept God’s grace in solving our problems.

Anyone
can participate in Celebrate Recovery:
·
Anyone
ready to start a new life
·
The

recovery for those struggling with addictive habits, codependency,
childhood hurts, and other life experiences that affect our peace.
In
Celebrate Recovery groups, the walking wounded study, pray, share, and
take the steps necessary to experience a better life.

We have available for you in Adobe Acrobat

Table. You can click on the links below to get to each area. Feel free to
print and copy what you need. We just ask that you not change
anything. The material comes from Saddleback. We just typed it up in an

find refuge, belong
· give
and receive caring
· practice respect
·
be assured of confidentiality
·
take
off your mask
·
find an accountability partner
·

The issue group is not a place where you can practice selfish
control of others, get therapy, keep secrets, look
for dating partners, judge others, or find a quick fix.

Celebrate Recovery is conducted by Christians who have been through
12-step recovery themselves. They understand.
Many have been dealt tragic blows in their lives.
Our choices cause painful and lingering consequences, leading to
guilt, remorse, grief, and shame. These individuals can truly understand and lead
others.

Perhaps you are
wondering why Celebrate Recovery is so successful in hundreds of churches
across the land. There are three reasons why this approach is special:
· Jesus Christ is the
“Higher Power”.
· Issue Groups are
led by real people who
have been through recovery with Him.
· The Principles and
methods applied are
built upon Biblical truths.
